Paperlike Pencil Tips 4 Pack

I love these tips. I handwrite a lot on my iPads (yes, I have more than one) and have Paperlike screen protectors (which I love) on both. Adding the Paperlike Pencil Tips has made an even bigger difference for me, making my handwriting experience even better. Plus, Jan and his company were great to work with. The initial set of tips I had bought were not working properly. Jan has sent me a replacement set and these ones work great. I love companies that stand behind their products. Bravo! Now, if they could just make that Paperlike Folio Case for the iPad Mini, that would be my next purchase! :-)

This product massively improves the experience of writing or drawing on a tablet, but it is not the same as using paper. Most especially for those who use paper a lot, and know how vast the range of experiences are when combining a writing instrument with a canvas.

The way that the feedback changes with differing levels of pressure, and tells your fingers just what to do is great. The thin, barely there nature of the screen protector is very nice. And ease of application is great.

The sounds that it makes are also remarkably paper like, particularly when you are applying less pressure, but at higher pressure levels it can get squeaky and gross.

Truly, my only valid complaint with this product combination is the effect it has on image quality. It does a better job than almost any other product of this kind at disappearing, but the image quality on these newer iPads is so good, that it is hard to quantify just how much this product takes away from that. Suffice it to say that the detriment to clarity is considerable.

Though it is twice the price of some of it's imitators, it is the original and easily worlds better than anything out there.

When I first put this new tip on my pencil, I immediately felt the difference. It definitely had more friction; a little too much perhaps.

But after using it for a while, I stopped noticing the friction. Which is good; you shouldn't be mindful of the tools you're using.

Combined with the newest screen protector, it gives a better writing experience.

I purchased the pencil tip, the grip, the screen cover, and received the planner as well. The pencil tips and the screen cover work great. The feel is much better than the original ipad and apple pencil. I highly recommend anyone that plans on drawing or writing on their ipad to use this. It's not a complete replication for pen and paper, but this is as close as anything has gotten and feels very natural to use. Additionally, I used just the pencil tips for about a week (screen cover was purchased later), and I can say that while it was a slight improvement to the original apple pencil tips, I would say the combination of Paperlike pencil tips AND the screen cover is what makes this truly work. I also tried the original tips with the screen cover just to be sure the combo is what felt best, and it was. I don't use the grip very often, but I believe that's not a fault of the product. I just don't particularly use grips a lot. I wanted to see how it would feel, and for my use it was good. It feels about as natural as you'd expect, I'm just not the demographic for this particular product. However, if I used these products more often, it would likely improve my comfort throughout the day. This also came with a planner as part of my purchase package. This is just a pdf style planner that could be made by anyone. I'm not sure what i was expecting, but it's not as interactive as i would have hoped. If you looking for a planner that is exactly like the kind you can print out and write on or find in a store, this works well. However, if you're expecting a more interactive planner or something that has features or works across applications, this isn't it.

I honestly don't know what I would do without them. I just got a new ipad and haven't got my cover for it yet and it feels awful compared to my old one which has the paperlike cover. Off to buy another set of covers now :)
