For PDFs and JPGs, you’ll need to change the blend mode of your layer. This is because the areas you'd color need to be made transparent instead of white.
Here's how to organize your layers in Procreate:

- Tap your coloring page layer and hit the N icon next to the layer name.
- Scroll up to Multiply and tap the layer again.
- Add a new layer by tapping the + icon.
