This is a legacy Paperlike collaboration with Good Wilhelm, created to keep your iPad and accessories safe, together, and ready to go.
We wanted to make something that felt truly Paperlike: well-made, thoughtfully sourced, and beautiful to use. So we went for a sleeve with the look and feel of leather, without using leather.
It’s crafted in Germany from 100% bio-based material, made with plant-based components including rice husks. A nice little full-circle moment, considering rice husks have also been used in papermaking. Very Paperlike, if you ask us.
The outside is black with a lemon-drop fleck… because yes, it is pretty… and the inside is lined with soft merino wool to help protect your iPad on the move.
Good to know: The larger 12.9-inch version also fits many 13-inch MacBooks.

Will the Good Wilhelm Sleeve fit my tablet/device?
The Good Wilhelm Sleeve x Paperlike Sleeve is designed to be most compatible with Apple iPads and is available in two sizes, scaled to fit the 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pro.
The 11-inch model can be used to fit the 10.9-inch iPad Air and smaller iPads; however, the fit won’t be as snug.
It’s also possible to fit other tablets (or a small MacBook) into the sleeve, assuming their dimensions are similar to an iPad.
What else can I put in the Good Wilhelm Sleeve?
The Good Wilhelm Sleeve x Paperlike Sleeve offers two pockets for transportation and storage.
- The main storage pocket offers enough space for an iPad and attached case (such as the Magic Keyboard Folio or a Paperlike’s Folio Case) and an Apple Pencil.
- The accessories pocket provides enough space for various chargers, cables, connects, and additional peripherals.
The Good Wilhelm Sleeve is designed to snugly secure even unprotected tablets during transport, so expect a tight fit if you plan to add more than essential accessories.

Yes. The Good Wilhelm x Paperlike iPad Sleeve is created from sustainably sourced and recyclable materials.
The exterior is created from MIRUM a durable, plant-based material created from 100% natural inputs. This material gives the Good Wilhelm Sleeve its classic, leathery feel.
The product interior is lined with merino wool to both cushion and protect your electronics and accessories during transit.
How do I care for the Good Wilhelm Sleeve?
To clean your Good Wilhelm x Paperlike iPad Sleeve, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
The smooth exterior of this product allows it to slide into and out of backpacks, briefcases, and other bags with minimal resistance.
However, rough handling against abrasive surfaces like concrete or cement may cause the leather to scuff, scrape, and degrade.
Please note: After sustained usage, this product will develop a unique patina and/or natural coloration from handling. This behavior is normal and expected.
Is the Good Wilhelm Sleeve water-resistant?
Yes! The plant-based resin during production enhances durability and provides natural water resistance.
